Since Balaam could not curse Israel directly, he suggested drawing them into sin. Cozbi whose name means deceiver enticed a prince, Zimri, a Simeonite. and was slain by a javelin in her belly by Aaron’s grandson, Phineas. It actually went through him into her. Twenty four thousand had died from a plague, a disease or infection, no doubt caused by sexual immorality and idolatry. Although a Midianite princess herself, her intentions were evil. Rebecca Jones

Wives/Daughters of Korah, Dathan and Abiram
So all the people stood back from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Then Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrances of their tents, together with their wives and children and little ones.
Numbers 16:27, gives an account of Moses dealing with the men who spurned God. As soon as he said should the ground open up and swallow them alive into Sheol or hell. What a horrible fate. Numbers 16:27 Rebecca Jones / Raphael Amormin Bertacini /crop, thanks.
The Women Baking Bread
When there was a famine and grain was scarce the women could bake bread, enough for a week but now it was rationed. Bread was staple of food in Old Testament Times as well as New, and even no. Probably, why we are told we cannot live by brad alone but God’s Word. Thankfully, Jesus our bread from heaven, and Bethlehem in case you did not know means house of bread.
When I cut off your supply of bread, ten women will be able to bake your bread in one oven, and they will dole out the bread by weight. You will eat, but you will not be satisfied. Leviticus 26:26, KJV will say break your staff…Rebecca Jones / pexels

Name Meaning—Peaceful
She the daughter of Dibri of the tribes of Dan in the time of Moses, who married an unnamed Egyptian—her name means peaceful, but her life may have been anything but. She became the mother of a son who was stoned to death for blaspheming “the Name.” Angered because he was by divine law excluded from camping with his mother, he cursed God who gave the law, and reviled the judges who pronounced sentence against him.
The story of her being abused by and Egyptian taskmaster, who then killed her husband, and that he was the father and the Egyptian Moses slew, is a little complicated, but is held as a tradition. Rebecca Jones / pexels
A Levite Daughter
Our next Bible lady is one of the Levitical daughters of Leviticus 10:14. The Levites were priests, and in this verse they are being instructed on how to eat the sacrificial Lamb. His grace us amazing, so glad we can take Communion instead. Rebecca Jones
The Basin
This is one of the women who who would go to the tent where the tabernacle was being set up, they gave their mirrors, their most precious possessions to make the laver in Exodus 38:8 It is comparable to seeing yourself in God or Christ as in 1 Corinthians 13.
He made the basin of bronze and its stand of bronze, from the mirrors of the ministering women who ministered in the entrance of the tent of meeting. 38:8
Wise Hearted Women
25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair. Exodus
More Bible Women
Every Israelite woman will ask for articles of silver and gold and fine clothing from her Egyptian neighbors and from the foreign women in their houses. You will dress your sons and daughters with these, stripping the Egyptians of their wealth. Exodus 3:22
When they were leaving the women were glad to see them go and gave them riches, and they were finally delivered from bondage and servitude. Rebecca Jones ( I apologize if these are out of order, apparently, I am posting and they didn’t pop up. replaced the mouse. )
